In follow-up to their newly released Compact Palletising Cell (CPC), JMP Engineering are proud to announce a new version of the machine with built-in stretch wrapping capabilities.

The CPC system features a central frame where all system components are mounted, allowing for quick and easy setup at customer facilities. The new version of this machine features turntables at the two palletising locations and stretch carriages mounted adjacent to each of these locations.

At the start of the palletising cycle the robot pulls the film out and onto the empty pallet, and then places a carton (or other package type) onto the film to secure it in place. The robot continues to palletise packages until the pallet is ready to be wrapped. On completion of the palletising sequence the turntable rotates and film is released from the stretch carriage. During the wrapping cycle the robot continues to palletise product in the opposite palletising position of the cell.

The new system provides customers with a fully featured palletising and wrapping system, all in a compact footprint and at a reasonable price. The palletiser can also be supplied with grippers for handling a range of products, such as containers, cartons, bags, drums and pails.
