ABB is delighted to announce the formal Global Launch of ABB Expanded Palletising Market Offer, which includes two new palletising robots, three palletising grippers and an easy-to-use programming software – all designed to make palletising simpler, faster and more efficient.
Leading ABB’s new palletising offering is the compact, 110 kg capacity, IRB 460 - the fastest palletising robot in the world. This is the ideal palletising robot for high speed bag handling, and compact end of line palletising systems.
For high-output full-layer palletising, ABB is introducing the IRB 760 robot. It boasts an impressive payload capacity of 450kg, a reach of 3.2m, and a high wrist inertia that enables it to rotate heavier and larger products faster than any other robot on the market.
Three FlexGrippers round out the new hardware product offerings, including a Clamp, which comes in two sizes, for handling cases; a heavy-duty Claw for high-speed bag palletising; and a Vacuum gripper that can handle up to ten products at once.
The most revolutionary aspect of the new palletising portfolio is ABB’s new software, RobotStudio Palletising PowerPac. This program, which runs on a PC, allows users to configure, simulate and program ABB robots and grippers for palletising solutions.
