Motoman has released its new six-axis MA1400 Master Arc welding robot with an integrated torch in the upper arm and SIGMA V motor control technology.
The Motoman welding robot has a 3kg payload and approximately1.4m in horizontal reach, 2.5m in vertical reach and a ±0.08mm (±0.003) repeatability.
The welding robots power cable and welding utilities, such as gas and air hoses can be routed through the robot base and is available in floor, wall or ceiling mounted configurations.
According to Motoman, it is suitable for work cells with multiple robots working in close proximity, as well as for applications which require access to parts in tight spots or those with potential interference from fixtures.
